LITTLE WING GUY'S PROFILE

I may have little wings, but I have a big dick heart.

Hey there. I've been into game making since about 2008, but it wasn't until 2014 I was able to complete my first ever game! The game was started and finished in a single week for a contest. In one week I was able to do what I struggled with for 6 years. 6 WHOLE YEARS. HILARIOUS ISN'T IT.

Thanks for keeping up these interviews. It's always great to see into the mind of people who you've been part of the community with (especially ones you admire).

Theia is now available in english!

Huge congratulations! I always have enormous respect for any developer that completes a game, let alone goes the step further and translates it.

I look forward to diving into this game soon!

I love this screenshot because I am completely torn on whether this is a typo, or a clever pun (assuming she's some sort of cat lady).

Update! March 3rd, 2019

Always nice to get an update on this game!

I think I will wait until the "demo-demo" before I jump into this game. It looks worth the wait.

There's nothing wrong with the name Dornaga. It's the level 3 spell of Dorn, followed by Dorna.

Can this please be my next holiday destination?

This was a lovely little read on a rainy Sunday with a cup of tea.

Thanks for this, both of you!

This looks very smooth, and clear. I like it a lot.

The only minor point I have is the damage figures. They're a higher definition than the pixel font and the numbers used in the actual HUD. It's no deal breaker, but to me it stood out immediately.

Game Magazines

I used to read a monthly gaming magazine called Games Master for years. It had a competition section where readers would design their own video game, and back in February 2004 I won!

They wrote a little article about my game, and made comments on my ideas and *cough*artwork*cough* and it was just the most flattering thing that ever happened to my 12 year old self I still have the magazine along with all the work I did in my parents loft with all the things I created for it.

For winning I got their review copy of Castlevania: Lamont of Innocence. Of course, the real prize was running around the school playground the next day screaming "I'm in magazine! I'm in a magazine".

Next time I'm at my parents house I'll take some photos of the article. My game idea was absolutely bonkers. It's hilarious.
